Tutorials >> How to Register - Dec 18  2009

If you have purchased a copy of either Artizen HDR or the Photoshop Plugin Package, you will need to register your product to convert it from a Trial version to the Full version.

To register your SCI product you will need to know 4 pieces of information. The first 3 are rather simple cause they are the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address that you used to purchase one of our products with. If you included your middle initial during the purchase process this will usually be attached to the Last Name entry so that the last name setting will require this to be included such as "P Smith" rather than just "Smith". The 4th piece of information which needs to be entered during the Key Generation Process is your Computer Name (this is not your computer model).

Step 1. If you have already downloaded the DEMO TRIAL version of Artizen you will be able to register that version rather than having to re-download it from the User Section of our web site.

Step 2. Open Artizen and goto Help | Register... menu option. The window shown below will appear but rather than saying "HOMEXP1" beside the "Computer Name" setting, it will say your computer name. This value is unique to every computer, so you have to make sure you use exactly what is shown there!

Step 3. Now that you know your "Computer Name" you can proceed to the Member Login page. Link

Step 4. Once you have logged in, you will see a link located at the top of the page called "Generate Key". This link is only visible to users who have purchased a copy of one of our products.

Step 5. This link will take you to the Key Generation page as shown below. You will now use the "Computer Name" that was shown in the Registration Window in Artizen.

Step 6. Once you have entered your Computer Name, click the Submit button. This will generate a unique key for your specific computer.

Step 7. You can now go back to the Registration Window in Artizen and enter your information and key. Assuming you have entered everything correctly a popup will appear that will indicate that your application was registered successfully. If one of the pieces of information is incorrect a popup window will indicate that registration failed. As mentioned above the most common error is the Middle Initial and if this is the case you will see a middle initial located in your name in step 4.
