Tone Mapping is the process by which out
of range pixel values are reset into a visible display's pixel range.
e.g.
if a color pixel in floating point is out of range for your monitor, it
must be converted into a value between 0 - 255.
Adding Tone Mapping plugins to Artizen is as easy as things
get. All a user must do is copy their *.dll operator file into the
"ToneMappings" directory located in the Artizen folder.
Common Directory = "C:\Program Files\Artizen HDR\ToneMappings"
Note: Artizen can remain open at all times, however, it will only rescan the
directory when a new file is opened. If the tone mapping operator is
displayed in the drop down list then the installation was successful.
Once installed you may want to read the Using
Tone Mapping Tutorials.
